The workshop will address strategic cybersecurity issues by stimulating innovative thought, discussion, debate, research, and university-industry-government partnerships.

Superior Cyber Defense by 2030

Cyber Workshop 2015’s overarching theme is cross-sector collaboration to achieve superior defense against strategic cyber threats by 2030. This will include engaging in next-generation cybersecurity research and development, experimenting with solutions for secure and resilient operations, and creating education programs that protect public and private information assets.

These panels will span technology, policy, governance, legal, acquisition, and workforce-related issues.

Through discussion and live polling, panelists will engage with attendees to develop recommendations and plans to help the Air Force*, Department of Defense**, state and local governments, academia, and industry develop a highly secure and resilient cyber ecosystem by 2030.

2015 Challenge

In the lead-up to the workshop, the AFA is sponsoring a white paper, innovation demonstration, and poster challenge. The workshop will feature selected papers, demos, and posters through discussion, demonstration, publication, and monetary awards. The submission deadline is August 3, 2015.
